  1. We have a 5,800 family deductible. I got bit by a dog off the leash while running this past fall. The meniscus tear, which I'm not sure if it's related or not. My knee's been a bother since that day. That night my son accidently closed a door on my wife's finger and broke the tip of her finger. Earlier in the year my son had to get a procedure done removing a mole on his face. Just one thing after another this year after having gone almost 10 years between ER/Hospital visits. I pay for a percentage of the MRI. Not sure how that works though. Glad to hear your knee is responding well. That's amazing! Looks like your trip south should be painless.
  2. Wall dogs...LOL
  3. Unless the eyebolts didn't get screwed into a stud?
  4. Agree...I fished in Florida and here in the Baystate...a bass is a bass Top secret bait up here...any shad type pattern...
  5. Sorry saugerman, just saw this. No, I got this and 4 other different colored ones at Jann's Netcraft. You add your own hooks and split rings. I think at the time when I bought them it worked out to be $2.25/lure.
  6. Your door security alarm.
  7. You can actually turn you pm's off so no one can pm you. His profile says: Members, FMR Usually banned members are: Floaters
  8. Why do you say he got banned?
  9. Why do they have to be elite QB's? Tom Brady won a SB IN '01 against an elite QB before he was considered a top QB. Trent Dilfer won, I wouldn't consider him an elite. Brad Johnson TB won Eli winning his first? I wouldn't have considered him an elite back then. So why an elite QB? Why not build a team that is well above average in all 3 phases of the game and use A-Jay's model? Just thinking aloud.
  10. It's a good concept that can work with say 2 different styles of QB's. Take a QB that's more of a pocket passer and add a guy that can roll out or even run for yardage, both have their day. They both will eventually take a beating. The roll out/running QB will take punishment because he is a runner and the pocket passer eventually faces those teams that accumulate a lot of sacks. I can see some merit to this idea.
  11. I think I get what you're idea is here, but getting an owner to "buy" into that theory would probably be a tough sell and here why I think it won't sell: Usually the QB is the best player on the field, at least that's what you hear all the time. How to you justify paying top dollar only to have the guy sit on the bench for the game or half of a game? Or do you take maybe to QB's who are on the average pay scale, like 2 ex pats qb's, Brian Hoyer and Matt Cassel splitting the duties. Cassel, as you know was more than serviceable going 11-5 when Brady went down and Hoyer, even though he just stunk the joint out, isn't all that bad, do you take 2 guys like that and fit them in your model? I doubt you can get a Manning/Brady tandem? Anyway, that's what I think you're trying to say and I like the idea.
  12. Coughin in Philly? Whatchya think?
  13. Thx...I just didn't understand why the power of the rod was important in this thread. Thx for your clarification
  14. Would the power of the rod affect the application of a topwater bait? Just asking, I'm dumb with rods.
  15. I know a site administrator happy with the results.
  16. I'm with fly, a wake bait.
  17. This rain should open up any skim ice that formed this week.
  18. Just got a great notification: "Burfict storm smashes Bengals..." Sorry Bengal fans, I really wanted the cats to win.
  19. Total lack of discipline. How do you give up 30 yards on back to back penalties at the end of the game? KC at NE. As the Tuna used to say: "They're no ham and egger".
  20. Good to know, thanks Dwight.
  21. Good point! i thought we got rid of the quota for "likes".,,.oh well
  22. The insurance deductibles are killing me, Rhino. I'm in a bit of a hole now between my knee and the rest my family. Generally we're not in the hospital, but 2015 turned out to be a freakish year for us.
  23. That's just it, the MRI didn't show much, maybe a partial tear, but he didn't think it was prudent to go in there based on the images. He did say that it really is hard to tell unless he did go in there. Very confused. I just want to be able to exercise without having to think about it. Some days I feel good and then I get on the treadmill or go for a run, my knee feels like its giving out or I have poor form and have to stop and do something else. Glad it went well for you Tom, I'm sure you'll be pain free in no time.
  24. Good to hear Tom! MRI results came back not as bad as originally thought, but there's still something going on there. He's recommending a cortisone shot and leaving the meniscus alone for now. i don't know. I've been working out, but no where near the intensity I would like, walking better with minor/bearable ache. Not sure what to do. His advice, let the pain be your guide. i gained some holiday pounds and I'm hoping to lose them plus a few more. I'll wait and see where my knee is at in a couple of months to make a decision.
