  1. I never subscribed to multi-bladed spinnerbaits. I understand your trying for a "schooling" minnow affect, but I have never heard great reviews on them. I could be wrong? I agree with @Munkin, the swivels will need to be replaced at some point. That was not the place to try and lower the cost of the lure IMO.
  2. Father's Day
  3. Welcome @Saki, glad you joined.
  4. All your answers should be honest and made with confidence. When asked about any weaknesses? Generalize your answer and remind your interviewer that we all have our weaknesses. "It's how I deal with them and work through them that that is one of my greatest strengths." Don't tell them you have NO experience in a certain area for the job, because you really do, otherwise you wouldn't be interviewed. Your answer is yes, but not a lot. I know with more exposure I will become better. Say it with honesty and with confidence. Showing confidence indicates that the employer will have confidence in your abilities when put in a difficult situation.
  5. Thanks for the info @Darren., I'll give that a try.
  6. I gotta get down there one of these days. Great job Rhino.
  7. Probably 4th of July. The boat usually gets in the water and on the mooring in the Bay at Kennebunkport and my striper fishing season starts up.
  8. So I went thru all the settings and no dice. I think I'll just set up his own Apple I.D. Weird, I had 4 devices on 1 I.D. before and haven't had this problem.
  9. That's seriously awesome right there, @steverowbotham. Look at his face?!?!?!? PRICELESS. I'm sure you have that day locked in you memory bank!
  10. @Munkin, you're good! https://www.lunkerlure.com/store/index.php/spinnerbaits/triple-rattleback-vibratron-spinnerbait-white-glimmer.html
  11. @Mitch G., you had me intrigued right up until I saw the Yankee hat......Sox fan here... Actually, after seeing the Yankee hat and beautiful fish, I rose for the Judge! Actually some great looking fish there, WTG! Beauties for sure. I hope for a speedy recovery, workmen's comp is a pain in the @$$ to deal with!
  12. Some good advice above. Good rule of thumb would be: Low Light Conditions/Stained Water: Darker colors and more vibration - Colorado Blade High Light/Clear Water: Lighter more natural colors and less vibration - Willow Blade Windy Conditions. Clear Water with a lot of chop: White Color/Double Willow Blades fished into the wind Never hurts to add a trailer or trailer hook or both Good luck @grayfox0327, let us know how you make out.
  13. That fish is sweet @Leftymuk! Another one of those elusive fish I haven't been able to catch. A beauty for sure. Congrats!
  14. ...I love it, @scaleface has really got something here... @BASS302, You'll have even more fun when your ideas catch bass! Keep tinkering, it's all part of this great sport. Here's a pic of how the blades and clevis' work:
  15. I love it!! Bill Lewis named his lipless crank after his mode of transportation, you, my friend, might be on to something... I will honestly say that, that "contraption" can seriously catch some bass!
  16. You're actually on the right track @BASS302. Here's spinnerbait I made a few years ago when I was actually making an inline spinner. It can be made using a typical spinnerbait head. Put 2 blades on separate clevis' and interlock them making sure the blades oppose each other. I love fishing this bait. The reason why you're not getting more thump is because the blades actually cancel each other out. Check out what different blades sound like under water: https://www.mepps.com/resources/lure-sounds/ The double blade configuration actually makes a whir sound underwater. Something a bass doesn't hear a lot. Give it a whirl!
  17. I kinda did @deaknh03, I got his old iPhone when my Blackberry Curve finally crapped the bed......I was smarter with that phone.
  18. Pretty gosh darn soon grampa. My son is in his last year of Little League and we're getting to the finish line. We put together a tournament team and will be playing in those few final games soon. Fishing season starts up for me as soon as the last out is called. Hope all is well with you and the missus...
  19. @grampa1114 thanks for posting that video. That's good stuff right there.
  20. Oh wow, that's awesome. Big fish too! you really get an idea of how big that fish is with the way you're holding it next to your son. A beauty for sure. Congrats on an awesome memory for you two.
  21. I noticed that my "handoff" setting was on...Never thought of it. I'll have to check his setting as well. Thanks for posting that @pondbassin101. I'll find out tonight when I get home. @Finesse Wayfarer, I'm with you. I ask both my son and daughter for advice. Why am I so dumb, I have a smart phone! I feel like Rodney Dangerfield in Back To School.
  22. All of them @quanjig. I can't figure it out for the life of me.
  23. How awesome was that @everythingthatswims! Love the pics too. Great job. I honestly would probably have to change some undergarments if I caught that!
  24. I was wondering if some iPhone users would know of a setting on the phone I'm just not seeing? My son is 12 and has a phone which is on my Apple I.D Account. He's been getting my phone calls, just phone calls, no text messages or emails. I had it set-up so that he didn't get any communication that's directed to me, but I'm wondering if it reset during a recent software update. Thank you in advance for your help.
