  1. The sponsors really pulled through this year to really make the tackle packs and raffle absolutely outstanding! I also want to thank Don Barone (DB) of ESPN for coming and spreading his humor. In addition, I want to thank Kevin Wirth and Bill Dance for almost coming. Kevin was at the lake, but came off the water too late to join us. And Bill's schedule conflicted with this event, otherwise he would have been there. But it's a good sign of how popular this event is getting!
  2. Just got home late last night. What a great trip! Definitely the best one to date. I don't have time to post my comments. There's just too much that happened. Like the others have mentioned, I laughed so hard my stomach hurt! Wanted to post a quick message for everyone who attended that has pics - please send them to LBH. He's creating the roadtrip video. Thanks!! Glenn

  13. Keri and I managed 25-35 bass per day!
  14. Rolo Marini? Sounds like a spaghetti sauce! ;D
  15. Haven't tried them. I stopped using Spike-It after I tried JJ's Magic. It blew Spike-It away! So I've never had any reason to go back ever since.
  16. Yes, you could use salt in small quantities, but that really leaves a lot of opportunities for error. You really need to know what you're doing. Use 'Catch and Release' instead. It already has the proper amount of salt in it, plus it has a whole bunch of other beneficial stuff in it that helps fish survive. It's a no-brainer.
  17. Yes, I've used them a lot over the years. They work best on finesse baits such as tubes and grubs, and anything on a splitshot rig. Not so much on larger plastics because it makes the worms "bend" upward at the front, plus the bullet weight will point "up". But for the finesse baits - great stuff!
  18. SnowBass23 nailed it on the head. Dunk the trailer, get the bunks wet, then pull out a bit. The boat will slide right on now. Simple.
  19. PLEASE Make sure you're in the right forum first before posting! Otherwise, your post will be moved to the appropriate forum and/or deleted! Fair warning!

  22. The dinners have been great. Many thanks to RW and Speedbead on the main dishes, and Deb and Jeff on the desserts!! Absolutely outstanding! Keri, RW, and I boated 26 largemouths today in protected coves. Wind wasn't an issue. We really keyed on a very specific pattern - dragging green pumpkin plastics and black/blue jigs in 12' of water. Had a few blowups on spinnerbaits in super shallow water, but the consistent bite was deeper. Wx report for tomorrow is sunny and warm, with tamer winds. We should be about to get out and hit some main lake points to target the big girls. Can't wait!
