I understand your stress. So it's hard to understand it when we say "be yourself". But honestly, she likes you already, else she wouldn't be going out with you. So she likes you because you've been yourself all along. So why ruin a good thing? Wear a nice shirt and pants. She'll be glad to be seen with you. Is a taking the bus an option?

Never heard of this "trick". But I've heard of people using old tires to create bedding areas with success.

It has more to do with multiple celebs dieing, and a bad economy than anything else. People come here to escape. Agreed we need to look at the bright side of life these days, and that can be a tall order sometimes. But let's do our best to keep things upbeat and positive here. I think we can all help each other out that way.

Being that we have upwards of 300,000 visits per month (yes, visits, not hits), there's much, MUCH more people viewing the pages than posting. The number of members registered is but a small fraction of the overall number of people here every day. And Bobby - thanks for your charity.

The keyword here is "equipment". Glen didn't say "lures", so I'll assume I get my current arsenal. As for "equipment", I'd opt for my boat....presuming I get the associated trolling motor, Lowrance, and Yamaha HPDI that's part of it. I think these things have made the greatest leaps and bounds over the decades more than anything else. Trolling motors are more powerful and efficient than ever before; Engines are much, much, much more fuel and oil efficient and more powerful (and quieter); Depthfinders are extremely advanced compared to chart graphs and LCD's of yore; and bass boats have better livewells, more storage, better handling, and are better built than their ancestors of a few decades ago. So ya, I'd take my boat.

Let's back up a moment. Pull the battery out of the boat and get it by itself. NOW try charging it. If it still doesn't charge, then it is indeed your battery. If it charges, then you have a wiring problem (a low voltage draw, short, or something along those lines).

The reason these baits are off limits is because they're controversial and ALWAYS end up in needless fights and/or endless bashing of companies - where people work trying to make a living. Posting a bad review is one thing, but bashing companies - whether a sponsor here or not - I will not allow. And you all know I won't tolerate fighting here. Rest assured, they gave the media the correct information, but the media screwed it up. I was in "the media" for several years - enough to know that they get their facts straight only about 50% of the time. Getting the story out there "first" is much, much more important than accuracy.
