  5. Mine is real original also. Name of my company I started. Now my other name Gman actually started out as Gloomisman. Just a fan of Loomis rods. I've owned alot and still have alot.

  8. I agree with DVT. This reminds me of a conversation between my old boss and Loomis. He was on them for a long time to offer a line of rods with no more then a 1 yr warranty and drop the price.

  15. For LSC I use green pumpkin varients and smoke purple. Thats any plastic I throw on that lake.

  17. Good to hear from ya Jig! If your pouring yourself your best alternative is tin/bismuth alloys. I've never powder coated tungsten. I'd probably spray paint it then use some devcon for a clear coat on it. You could also try some Plasti dip from Home Depot. It might work. Its the same stuff they dip tool handles in. Plastic wont hold up.
