  1. Sounds like a great trip!
  2. Wow Paul nice fish!
  3. I primarily use 4 depending on circumstances. Loomis GLX 853, 854, 855, 875
  4. Wow, Those are some awesome smallies!
  5. How? Dont you move your finger when you reel/hookset? I agree with Catt on this one. I think we may fish alot alike. Anyway, I palm the reel with one or two fingers on the exposed bland and my pointer finger under the line. When I reel I move my finger so I do not cut my finger. Same for a hookset. Ill show you how I fish a jig first hand on April 22. Its nothing amazing though
  6. I'm sorry to inform you guys and gals but you will have to put up with us for 1 more day. I'm staying until Thursday now instead of Wed.
  7. Wow, Thats alot of folks attending. Its going to be a great trip!
  8. I dont go shallow for lures because props and lower units are more expensive then lures. I dont lose many though because I use a lure knocker or can pop them free usually. I'd say lost to recover rate is 1-10
  9. Top water fishing is awesome. Especially Froggin. Nice catching.
  10. I sure can. Just let me know what you would like and I'll bring it with me. Thanks! This sale is not just for the men and women attending the road trip. Its for everyone.
  11. Is everyone ok? Sounds like some bad tornadoes down in that area.
  12. Wow, thanks for sharing.
  13. I'm having a Bass Resource Road Trip Sale April 3-20th 2012 is a 15% rebate on all in stock lead jigs, lead jig heads, skirts, and plastics. Bismuth Lead free series is not included in this rebate. The way this rebate works is your place your order through the website and I will rebate you 15% off your total purchase excluding shipping. Over $50 still ships free.
  14. I once lost using a Garmin GPS system. It had no clue where I was suppose to turn at. 4 right turns brings you back to the same spot. LOL
  15. Yeah they are all a little different. Just styles in a brand are different. As a jig builder when someone wants a certain hook in a jig I also run into eye sizes varying quite a bit for similar size hooks.
  16. #1 for me is Loomis. #2 would be St Croix.
  17. I was reading 72 deg for the water temp in a lake I fish alot. We usually dont see that until mid/late may. All in all we are 3-4 weeks early this year it seems like
