  1. I have 2 blue tops that are older. They work great. I dont know about the charger though.
  2. Congrats! Nice fish.
  3. Wow, Sounds like a great trip!
  4. You sir, are lucky. 2 yrs ago I was fishing out by the fire cracker and a storm rolled in. My T motor seemed to spend more time out of the water then in.
  5. Sustain 2500, 2 of them. I'm pretty sure I have a spool in the basement.
  6. Thats pretty cool Kent. I wish I wouldnt have respooled my reels I'd like to try some of the 6lb. I'll see if I can find an extra spool for my spinning reel. I also just checked the weather. They changed the forcast. Looks a little better then it did.
  7. Same here I just crank slower. For me its alot easier to slow down then to speed up.
  8. I believe mine is 45". I wish I would have went with the 52" for the reasons JFrancho mentioned. If you dont fish rough water there is no need for the 52 on a bass boat unless you have some type of crazy built bow.
  9. Sounds like fun. On a serious note I will have a couple rods for sale if anyone is interested. On is a Browning rod and one is a GLX MBR 843. If your interested hit me up down on the lake.
  10. Front. I only adjust the drag for the lb line I'm using then never touch it. I also believe front drag is smoother.
  11. Agreed! I'm bringing the one I have. Someone will have to show me how to fish it or rig it.
  12. LOL Kent. I'm doing the same thing. Most locations seem to be new grass too or shad spawn locations. Usually grass also in that lake from what I'm learning.
  13. Great Pics. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Almost everything I buy is online anymore. Biggest reason is what you stated Tom and cost. I do not have the time to run to a few stores looking for a part or certain lure. With gas as expensive as it is I'd rather pay 5 dollars to ship me something then spend 10-15 in fuel. Other issue is most of the stuff I use no one local carries or will.
  15. I still fish quite a few of them. Most of the time I will throw a 2" chunk on a finesse jig when I fish them.
  16. Very nice smallie!
  17. Nice fish!
  18. Good to hear your Dad is doing better. Nice fish!
  19. Thats awesome! I fished with Glenn and Keri last year. We had a great time on Lake Barkley!
  20. I feel that Mike from DVT deserved a public thank you from me. He went out of his way to fix a Diawa TDX for me that was acting up. Of course this could not have happened at a worse time because of the road trip. His quick turn around helped me out to be able to take my favorite cranking reel with me. DVT, Thank you!
  21. Don, I have never seen a mold anywhere close to that. Sorry.
  22. Sounds like a fun outting. Congrats
  23. Sounds like a good trip!
