  1. Nice fish RW.
  2. Wow, that was quick. Thanks for the good words. The black/light green pumpkin is a growing color.
  3. Congrats! I agree with you. Good info drastically cuts the learning curve.
  4. Great pics thanks for sharing.
  5. Oddly, an all black jig is one of my least selling colors. I haven't quite figured that one out yet.
  6. Thanks!! The Big O is the best jig I make. It uses a XXX strong Owner hook. I have fished alot of jigs over the years but have yet fished one as tough as this one. I'd use the brush head. The Grass Jig I have would be great also for what you are asking. Roadwarrior is right. The falcon craw is a good one. Any of the browns/greens or mixes work very well for me.
  7. Probably 300 whites on Lake St Clair. You had a fish every time your lure hit the water.
  8. The wire tie is where I will use copper wire to secure the skirt onto the jig. The Rattle band is a rubber band that secures the skirt to the jig. Wire tie is permanent without cutting it off and completely ruining the skirt. Rattle bands can be taken off and changed. The band also has two collars that you can put rattles on if you would like. The wire tie is the most durable.
  9. Shoot me a pm of what you are looking for and if I have the colors I will make it up for you. Thank you Captain Obvious!
  10. Very Nice! Congrats.
  11. For the month of August I will be offering free shipping on any order 20.00 or more. If you have been thinking about ordering a few jigs or plastics now is the time! http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/
  12. When I fish that range with a jig I typically throw 1/2-3/4 for the 15-20 or 3/4-1oz for the 20+ 15 fow isnt real deep. Years ago a guy told me when your fishing 20ft deep thats only as deep as your boat is long. I never really thought of it that way but sometimes 20 fow seems real deep and he put it into perspective. Cranks I usually go with a bandit 300 or dd22 I also have some custom builds from Big M I use alot.
  13. I can make those sizes in a Bullet head or a Finesse round ball head. Those do not have recessed line ties. Finesse http://www.siebertou...hp/finesse-jigs Bullet http://www.siebertou....php/bullet-jig The Brush is recessed but the only size is 1/4 or 3/8 in the small ones. http://www.siebertou...x.php/brush-jig Hookset on 3 (Thanks!) posted my Elite Swim which is a great jig for cover and comes in the Poison head or Bullet. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/index.php/elite-g-swim
  14. Take care buddy. If you need anything let me know. I will do what I can.
  15. a few Plano 3700's
  16. Great job Big M.
  17. Here is a skirted version with my newest color Alimony.
  18. Any time! The sale will definitely still be going on next week.
  19. Do any of you know how they will check that? The only way I can think of will cause destruction of the lure or finish.
  20. I have around a dozen jigs in my box from about 3 yrs ago still holding up the same from when I made them. I have yet to have one fail.
  21. All Grass Jigs are 10% off currently. The price on my site reflects the discount. The Grass Jig uses a Mustad Ultra Point heavy wire hook, Heavy weedgaurd, and durable powder coat. You can pick these up with a rattle band on sale for 2.02 each! The wire tie is $2.25. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/index.php/grass-jig
  22. I would throw a Football head or a Brush head jig in a brown, green, or mix of the two color.
