  1. The shrink tubing is by far the better way to go, no doubt.
  2. Don't like it
  3. I've used them, haven't seen much difference between them and other similar type baits.
  4. Thanks for the info
  5. Fat ikas
  6. we finally got a divorce, but thank for bringing up very painful memories
  7. God wasn't resting when He made these babies
  8. I held a little "Felis Catus" in the palm of my hands once.... didn't like it at all. it scratched me.
  9. I have a little pond boat. (2 person, 10ft. long) I will have up to 8 rods and my buddy 4-5 rods all with their colored rod jacket sleeves sticking out in different direction from the boat. We get a lot of comments and snide remarks about it. It actually does look pretty funny but were seldom out fished.
  10. Thanks alot, that was great.
  11. I fish straight braid in those conditions. Even when our waters clear up I use braid with out a leader especially in weeds.
  12. I own almost a Shimano reels, But I agree with previous posts. The "President" is hard to beat for the $$$. Mine has been well worth the money I paid for it.
  13. The MBR 844 GLX has always been my favorite Jig rod.
  14. I have a BSR 852 GLX, a 852 NRX and sometimes use my St. Croix ES70MF. The NRX is my favorite for weightless Senkos
  15. Jigs are so versatile and effective you can use them year round. Caught many fish in triple digits weather.
  16. I've had consistant success with Fat Alberts Twin Tails (Rootbeer/ pepper-green) behind booyah jigs. If I want a larger presentation there are a number of other trailers I will use. Fat Albert is my favorite.
  17. Surprised I have seen much feed back on the new PP. Anybody used it ?
  18. I have the Stradic 2500 fe, the Stradic 2500 Cl4, a Sustain fe, and a 1000 stradic. I have heard a few negitives about the newer Stradic, but I've never fished with any of the more recent models. My 2500fe has been a gem. not as smooth as the Sustain of course, but smoother than the Cl4 which gives up a little in exchange for it's lighter weight. I have the Cl4 on a NRX rod and the light weight is really enjoyable. Almost all of my baitcaster are Shamano, they are all good dependable units. I have a friend that likes his Saros, but is thinking serious about up grading to a Stradic. I would buy the best you can afford. The more you pay the better the reel. If you didn't want to go that high the Plueger President is hard to beat for the money
  19. My friend, have you not ever heard of the Banjo Minnow.
  20. ask and ye shall receive. Great article and comments, this is interesting. Thanks
  21. I missed it on T.V. (Hank Parker I beleive) was talking about all female bass pond and how they were growing big bass. Can anyone enlighten me on the theory?, They have to eventually reproduce or you lose the pond of course.
  22. Looks like a good idea. I don't fish drop shot much, but I'm picking some up for when I do.
  23. WOW, What a day. Remember that one for a while.
  24. ya, i feel the same. alot of knowledge and common sense to be found here.
